Welcome to the on line home of the Texas chapter of the League of the South. It is our hope that the site provides valuable information and truth in these days of disinformation and political correctness. We hope to provide you with information on what the League of the South is doing in Texas, and progress of the Southern Movement. Since the League seeks to advance the economic, cultural and political well being in local communities and throughout the State, our site provides information on history, access to your State and federal government representatives, updates on activities in Texas legislature, and current news from across Texas and the South. We encourage you join us in supporting local businesses in Texas and throughout the South.

For the Families of Texas and Liberty,

Jeff Murrah
Texas State Chairman, League of the South

... every man should endeavor to understand the meaning of subjugation before it is too late.  We can give but a faint idea when we say it means the loss of all we now hold most sacred ... personal property, lands, homesteads, liberty, justice, safety, pride, manhood.  It means that the history of  this heroic struggle will be written by the enemy;  that our  youth will be trained by Northern school teachers; will learn from Northern school books their version of the War, will be impressed by all influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors, our maimed veterans as fit objects for the derision, it means the crushing of Southern manhood ... to establish sectional superiority and a more centralised form of government, and to deprive us of our rights and liberties. - Major General Patrick Cleburne on 2 Jan 1864

"We seek to advance the cultural, social, economic, and political well-being and independence of the Southern people by all honourable means."
